How to configure NIS Server ?
 
Hi,

I want to configure NIS Server on RedHat Linux 9.If you have some link where i can find all the step that i have to performed on Server and Client machine, Please guide me.

Hmmmm... OP though this is true that 9 > 5.3 but 5.3 is later and newer than RH9.

When RHEL 10 is released in about 15 years, things should get a little simpler!

AFAIK RHL version 9 is RedHat Linux whilst RHEL 5.3 is RedHat Enterprise Linux, hence the difference in version numbers if I'm not mistaking. Google will give you the difference between both.
