how to configure network tcp/ip printer from linux workstation

Does anyone know how to add a tcp/ip printer (network printer not physically connected to the workstation) from the KDE interface? I'm using slackware 9.1 distribution. Is there an additional package I need to install from one of the CDs to get that choice? Thanks!

The network I'm on is here at work, I am on a linux workstation with root level permissions. All of the network printers are TCP/IP print servers, e.g. internal/external jetdirect devices, extendnet boxes and so forth. Any user can attach to a printer on our network so permissions is not a factor.

I just want to print to a printer attached to the TCP/IP print server via IP address but can't seem to figure out how to do that from this OS. There isn't a choice for TCP/IP printing. I was wondering if enabling a service was needed?

I don't know anything about ccc or any other utilities.... thanks for your help!
