How to Configure Hardware RAID in RHEL 5

i have Micro Super Computer(Server Machine), i have selected the RAID 5 with parity and now i want to configure it in RHEL 5. can someone tell me the step by step configuration that how do i should configure this Monster!!

well the main point of hardware raid is that the operating system is largely oblivious to it. configure it directly using the boot time firmware on the raid card and linux will then just see a single normal drive.

look for the driver of your raid-controller.
try to install it ( or first check if it isn't already installed. --> lsmod )

Now you can check the status of your raid-config.

Depending on which controller you have, you can change some parameters ( or not .. :-) )
