how to configure adsl modem in rhel5, which driver it'll need ?

how to configure adsl modem of bsnl in rhel5,
rhel5 can detect nic but not get wan ip by dhcp, it need any driver ? please help me

does your adsl modem configured as gateway ?
if so , your modem cant give ur PC a leased IP, because that is configured as gateway and your PC is connected ,kind of, directly to your ISP router , and normally ADSL router isnt configured as DHCP server .
just configure your linux ethernet card as given info that ISP gave it to you
