How to compile wine?
Hello,everyone,I'm from China and I'm new in linux's world,I like linux very much ,so I turn my OS into mandriva linux,so many programs used in windows can't be used here ,I know that wine can make it.I download the source code but I don't know how to compile it .So please help me in comiling it.Thanking you all for your visit and help.

Hi there... I'll make it easier then having to install from source... Keep in mind, just because you install wine, doesn't mean that all apps will work correctly. Here is a link to the download site that has a download for your Mandriva distro. Meaning you download, click, install thats it. Mandriva has a package manager that will assist the install without compiling code.
You might want to go to there documentation site on commands and configuration. Also check wine's app site http://appdb.winehq.org too check on compatibility and application support for your windows app. Hope this helps.
