How to chnage default FTP directory for vsftpd ?

Hello all,

I have set up the ftp server on Suse 8.1 Pro. I use the default ftp server sofware, vsftpd. Everything is working fine. But I don't know how to change the root directory of ftp service. It is now on /srv/ftp. I want to change it to other directory. I was wondering if anyone can help me. Thank you.

Type the following in /etc/vsftpd.conf file:

anon_root=/some/directory/of/your/choice/

e.g.

anon_root=/var/frp/pub/

and set up propper permissions for that directory and its subdiretories.

Eccolo.
