how to change the folder option in redhat linux

hello everybody
I have a problem. Is there any way to change the folder option so that when i open a folder it opens in the same window instead of the new window.
Thanks & regards

When you have a window open :

Edit > Preferences > Behavior

Check "Always open in browser windows".
