How to change screen resolution program wont fit
My Screen Resolution can only be changed up to 1024x768, i need it to be biggr so i can some of my programs dont get cut off by the small screen size how can i change my resolution of adjust some of my software to work with my screen size.

you can configure X yourself to see if you can get better resolution.

you have to edit xorg.conf (it's usually fund in /etc/X11/). In the file you already have configuration settings for 1024x768. so use this as a schema and write additional configuration for your monitor. It's recommended to install graphic drivers first if they aren't a part of the kernel (if you're using nVidia cards, you have to install the driver first!). Once you have configured your xorg.conf run krandrtray and select the resolution and refresh rate you want.

Thanks that helped my change my screen resolution but that still did not fix my problem i can see that bottom of the program. what els can i do
