How to change mirrors during yum install if possible

Got a question hopefully somebody can answer. Well I'm doing a yum install on gcc-c++ and it seems that one of the packages is downloading at 2.2 kb/s. I've reset my router and modem plenty of times and I've notice other packages will run at 200 or above. But this one seems to be very irritating.

I was wondering is there a way to switch mirrors to see if this will speed up the process?

Thank you

In the repository configuration file you should modify this:

vi /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates.repo

name=Fedora $releasever - $basearch - Updates
you should comment the mirrorlist and uncomment the baseurl.

if you want to pick another mirror you should check what mirror is available in the mirrorlist URL, changing $releasever for 10/11 and $basearch for i386 (or your architecture)
