i'm currently using fedora15 Gnome3...i was just wondering that i have seen many different login box and login screens of users..
how do i change my login box and login screen
I suppose you're talking about GDM (Gnome Display Manager) themes here. They should be available on the net (or create them yourself, if you like); I'd start by looking at gnome-look.org.

yes,i think it will help but i don't know how to configure gdm to achieve that...
I'm not on fedora, but on a Debian derivative, and I usually go here to get my login screen. Just click on login window and you have a number to choose from.
Of course all I have to do is to install the theme and it will work for me. Don't know if it will for you though. You could of course give it a shot to see if it does.

i tried that already but it just opens system settings, which i can open from the system tray only but there is not option there to change login screen....
Yeah that last link to change the login screen works. It opens system settings yes - but as GDM user which is what the login screen is run under.
So What you are doing is changing the system settings for the GDM user - so once the settings opens click background and choose a background and it will change the background of your login screen.
It doesn't however change the login box which is probably what you are more interested in doing, as am I.
The post by rupertpupkin shows that this is possible - however he has been uncommunicative since posting that - perhaps try hassling him or PM him as I have done unsuccessfully.
