how to change kde 3.3 splash?

Hello has anyone been able to use the splash screens in kde-look in kde 3.3?

I want to use the calvin and hobbes splash screenbut I can't seem to... I understand it's for 3.2 and the instructions might have changed... So how can I change splash screens in 3.3? Can I still use the 3.2 splash screens?

I tried changing it in the control center, but I don't know what extension the splash screen is supposed to be for 3.3....

but ...apps/ksplash does not exist...

If it does not exist you will have to create the directories that do not exist.

~/.kde/share/apps/ksplash/Themes

and

~/.kde/share/apps/ksplash/pics

hmmm yeah I created those.... but I think that the ksplash should have been there...

I also copied the files to the pics directory but nothing happened when I tried it

never mind... I got it to work....

For future references here's how to do it:

In KDE control center under splash.... just add the archive file of the splash screen
