Ive just install a new icons theme on suse 9.2, and have change dthe icons i wanted, when i right click on icons such as the trash bin, hard disk drives i havent got the option to change the icons?
If these icons came from kde-look.org or gnome-look.org or somewhere else and they are for GNOME or KDE, you copy them to the directory where the other icons reside by following the howto on the site you got it from. From GNOME or KDE, you go for the theme controls and select the new icon set you have. From GNOME or KDE, then save the theme to a new name.
