How to Change Apache Location
 
Hello Guys,

I'm using Ubuntu and running apache, i'm running FronAccounting and it's location is /var/www/account (/var/www/) was set by default and i access this through localhost/account, but i want to change /var/www/ to different location how may i do this kindly let me know.

You need to look into httpd.conf configuration file and change the location according to your need. Check what all parameters you set in configuration file.

I'm unable to find httpd.conf file in ubuntu, in centOs it's easily available, can any one tell me the exact location about the file and what changes i have to make ??

Hi,

In ubuntu it's apache2.conf, but for changing the default docroot (/var/www), better look in /etc/apache2/sites-available/default
