How to change a specific Icon

I'm trying to change some Icons, to start with, i'm trying to change the 'main menu' Icon and I have no Idea how, I already did a search and nothing, another thing I want to change is any other program's Icon, for example, mozilla, I have a shortcut to mozilly in my task bar and when I click properties and then change the Icon only that Icon gets change and not the others, how can I change a program's Icon completely?

Thanks.
-Luis.

Ummm, what? You right click on the icon that is there and you select 'properties', a little window pops up and you click on the icon and another window opens up with a list of icons for you to choose from. Now when you select this new icon it will only change the icon for the shortcut that you right clicked on in the first place. Why would you want it to change all the other icons, they would all be the same then.

If you want to change the icon that is associated with an application then just move to the directory of that application and there should be another directory for icons/pixmaps etc and, I suppose, you could put a different icon (.xpm, IIRC) in and remove the current one. Not sure why you would do this because it might get a tad confusing.
