how to capture enter signel?

hi friends

i am using vmware workstation 8. and whenever i install a guest linux the vmware tools has to be installed manually.

while installing the vmware tools. it asks for "enter" or "yes" or "no" several times.

so how can i capture "enter" or "yes" or "no" signal & to use it in any script to automate the vmware tools installation. can anyone tell me??

thanks

Why not just set it up once and save/distribute the image for that one VM, rather than having to set it up multiple times?

that's a good idea

i am doing that but i want also to automate it.
i want to build an .rpm of the vmware tools & keep it in the repo & configure the package in the kickstart file so that whenever i install a guest os through kickstart it should be installed along with vmware tools automatically.

so how can i configure it can anyone tell me?

thanks
