I want to built front end for my database project by using visual basics. so if you suggest any solutions for this then it could be better for me to go with it.

Here is a link to the Visual Basic Developer Center.

The page has a link to download Visual Basic 2010 Express Edition.

Now it's my turn to ask you a question. Why did you ask about Visual Basic (a Windows-only product) in a Linux forum?

If you are looking for something similar to Visual Basic on Linux have a look at Gambas, its a bit like VB (with some differences).

Useful links on gambas below:
http://gambas.sourceforge.net/en/main.html
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gambas

Depending on the distribution you are using Gambas should be available in your package repositories.

Good Luck!
