How to boot local disk from bootable USB (USB installation source)
Hi Guys,
I can boot the USB media with syslinux v4.02. I want to have one menu option to boot to local harddrive. I have tried below option, it does not work. Quote:

If the local drive is formatted and bootable, why not remove the USB and allow the boot sequence to pickup the local drive?

Open the quick boot menu and select hard disk there, now it will boot from hard disk.
http://cdn.appstorm.net/windows.apps.../quickboot.jpg To open boot menu, either you have to press f10/f11 or esc, it depends on your BIOS settings. Check there for the key and it will list all attached bootable devices, now you can select your desired option. |
