Question How to add user with root privileges

Hi,
I need to add a user with same power as root and I have root access.

Code:
adduser -g root -d / -s /bin/sh -p pass1 hord
Why can't i login through SSH as hord

Also what is the command to create a mysql user with all privileges(similar to mysql root)

Thanks for the replies..

adding users to the group "wheel" will make them close to root.

if you really want another root user, edit the passwd file to make a pre-existing user's number 0 and give that user a different home directory.

Giving a user full root access is a seriously bad idea. Use sudo to set up what the user can do instead, and using groups - custom or standard ones - is also a good way of providing a user extended privileges on the system.

useradd elvis -m -G users, wheel, audio -s /bin/bash usually does it. Then type passwd elvis to set a password for the user "elvis".
