How to add source url at synaptic

Well... this is embarrassing, as it should be simple.

I am trying to add this URL as a source at synaptic (debian):

But keep getting this error while updating the repository indexes:

GPG error: main Release: The following signatures were invalid: NODATA 1 NODATA 2
What could it be?

Instead edit the file sources.list in /etc/apt/ , backup the file first just in case. make sure the repo you are trying to add have the correct link.
