How to add panels to extra workspaces?

In Feisty, the bottom panel of the first workspace shows icons for 3 other workspaces in the lower right corner. Only the first workspace has panels top and bottom. The other three do not. Is this normal?

When I move to those workspaces they are completely blank (except for the default Ubuntu Feisty background) making it impossible to navigate once there. They do not respond to left or right clicking so I cannot get a menu to come up.

Can anyone tell me how to add top and bottom panels to the three extra workspaces?

Even better, since my panels are configured the way I want them on workspace number one, is there a way to copy the top and bottom panels as configured to workspaces 2, 3, and 4?

TIA

I use same distro and mine is okay. I use 4 workspaces too! all panels are there.

Open the gconf editor and revert the keys under /apps/panel.

Where? How?

I am totally new but trying. I have been all over my Ubuntu Feisty PC and determined after hunting that gconf-editor is indeed installed. I found it and opened gconf-editor, locating /apps/panel.

You said, "revert the keys under /apps/panel." There are many subdirectories there. I could not figure out which ones cause the panels to display on the three extra workspaces as they should.

Please tell me exactly what changes to make and where to make them.

TIA.
