how to add a linux machine to a windows 2003 domain ?

hi, everybody !

I got 2 questions:

- how can I add a linux machine to a windows 2003 domain ?

- how can I give access to the files on the linux machine, to users from the windows domain ?

both of these things are done by samba. have a google for how to join an AD domain withi samba and you'll be off. it's not fun and not easy though.
