How to add a KDE icon for a script?

I've a working suse 91 system with KDE and just installed MySQL 4.1...when I open up Konsole and su and run /etc/init.d/mysql start it works very well. How can I create an icon on my KDE desktop or in Kicker to run this script?

I have tried right click on the KDE desktop -> Create new link to app -> /etc/init.d/mysql -> run as root but although it comes up and asks me for the su password it doesn't execute the script. It simply gives me a dialogue with 'Command "/etc/init.d/mysql start" not found

Tried with quotes too.
