how to acess realtek8139 network card
 

hii...i'm a newbie to linux...my main project is about developing an os.
i have been asked to write a c program to access 8139 network card. i dnt know how to do it...i have dwnloaded 8139too.c but m finding trouble understanding it...can anyone pls help????
