How to absorb a program into the system (RSSOwl)

Hi,

Can you please tell me how to make the RSSOwl executable to seem like a normal program? I mean how to give it an icon, an make it appear like the rest of programs on Desktop and in 'Applications' menu? Also, should i copy/paste the folder into the bin directory?
