How should i start my career in linux?

I am an ECE engineer 2010 passout.
Currently working in the field of Industrial Automation from the past 11 months.
I dont see any scope for future growth in the company i am working with.
so i am thinking of pursuing a redhat certification program.I have studied some basics of Redhat Linux and Unix earlier.

Can somebody help me with a suggestion.

Download & install Centos (free version of RHEL).
See SysAdmin manuals here http://www.linuxtopia.org/online_boo...ion_index.html.
Use the RHEL6 manuals if you install Centos 6. Note that v5 manuals may also be useful, as a lot of areas are the same or little changed.

It will be better that you first choose your domain of working, within linux (bash shell , programming, etc.) and then try to excel in that...
