Question how put xp with puppy ?

Hello, yesterday, stupid backup... via pud copy partition and to day, xp is missing !is it possible to reinstall xp and that mbr wipe not grub ? sorry for my bad english, i'm french et cannot use puppy french because no inscription from 5 days !!!

you can reinstall XP and it'll erase grub but you can reinstall it using any linux live cd.

If I understand correctly, XP will always put it's bootloader in when you install it. you can then install grub from a live CD as the previous poster mentioned.

This page may be helpful, it's written with an ubuntu disk in mind but it should work roughly the same for whatever distro you use. Hope this helps!
