How much disck space left?

How can I check for how much disck left in my michine when I use Red Hat 9.0?

You might try to use the command:

df -h

It should show you the filesystems that you have mounted, the size of the filesystem, how much space has been used, amount still available, and so forth.

i think it is in one of the lower menu options symolised by a little monitor with a green screen (may be called system monitor or something?) and when it comes up it has a couple or charts that show u cpu usage etc (like windows does) and at the bottom it has your hard-drive info and next to that space left and space used

sorry i cant remember the exact route but its via the redhat menu's
