How many RHCAs(RHCSSes) and RHCEs on earth do it have all over the world?

This year my aim is to be a qualified RHCE(Certified).
And next year, get LPI 1 and LPI 2 pass.
In the following 5 years, I will try my best to pass the RHCA and RHCSS.
The website which I love very much is helpful to me.
Wish I may make more friends fond of linux here.

Kalya, you'll be pleased to know that as of Wednesday September 27th [2006], there are exactly 22,285 Red Hat Certified Engineers worldwide (14,866 current). There are also 14,129 Red Hat Certified Technicians (all of whom are current).
Compare that to the 100 million MCSE's out there :-P. and I doubt there are more than a few thousound RHCA's, if that many.

Excellent!! I'm working on the RHCE right now. I started on an mcse, took courses 290 & 291, but decided a point and click career wasn't for me. At the same time, i was being exposed to linux at work & thought it was much more simulating than windoze. For me, the best way to learn to administer linux is in tandem with setting up some service, like sendmail, and since during so there would something related to the curriculum, like iptables; just being practical to my needs, then later i'll just fill in my missing knowledge.

Good luck in your studies!
