Question how is process hidden in linux

when I logged in with my userid, I don't see any process running on the Linux machine.

I have used ps command to verify that.

but I switched to a FID using pbrun <fid>, I could see tons of process running on this host.

so how was this functionality achieved. I would like to try it myself on a different machine.

By default, the ps command shows your processes, on the assumption that these are probably the only ones that you are interested in.

If you want to see all processes, use ps -A.

See man ps
