a. put windows xp cd in dvd/cd rom
b. Reboot.
c. Go to bios make sure dvd/cdrom is selected as first boot option.
d. Save and exit bios.
e. Compter boots into window xp installation.
f. Follow through installation steps

Note that your Meego will be remove if you select to format your hard drive, if that is what you intende to do, replace Meego

When you have a system dual booting both windows and linux, Windows has to be installed first.

Not 100% sure why, But I know it has to do with windows bootloader (mbr) and the linux bootloader (grub or lilo most often) ... So if someone already has linux, and wants windows pretty much the only option is save all the important files you want to keep and delete linux, install windows, and re-install linux.

BIOS is within the computer, Not the Operating System ...

When you turn on your computer before the OS starts there is usually a quick screen (typically with your computers brand name) if you press F2 it should open a menu and that is your BIOS.
Look for a tab that says BOOT OPTIONS or BOOT ORDER, and as aazkan said make sure cd/dvd is set to boot first, then just follow the rest of the steps posted by aazkan.

*NOTE* Sometimes instead of F2 it will be: F12,Del, or TAB.

The problem with installing xp after your Linux system is that windows installers will always overwrite whatever you have in the master boot record. You won't be asked or informed that this is happening. It's usually not that big a problem because you can always re-install the Grub bootloader later as long as your windows installation doesn't overwrite your Linux partition.

The trick with getting into the BIOS is that you probably only see the screen for 3-5 seconds put the key you need will usually be listed at the bottom of the screen and the message will indicate either to enter BIOS or setup.
