How hide Startup Log during the Booting Process


I am very new in linux.

I want to hide the Startup log...it is annoying...i can see it later in 'demsg' /var/log/boot.msg any help?

Are you looking for something like a splash screen instead?

One option:

This varies on the distro you run. Which are you running? You may want to put that in your sig. It helps those who are trying to help you. I have never seen gensplash...I may try it myself.
