How does one delete a post?


Problem is solved...nothing more to see here.

You can't. All you can do is go back and replace your text with something like "Deleted. Nothing to be seen here".

For the record: What you should do is use the Report button on the post in question, and provide a brief explanation as to why you want it deleted. The moderators for the relevant forum will then take appropriate action.

Cool...Thanks..Maybe you could tell me something,why is there not a delete option?

There is no delete option because there is no need to delete threads unless you are a mod/admin. LQ is set up so that all threads and posts are permanently live so that it can serve as a resource for as long as it's up. That way, the maximum number of people can get the greatest amount of help.
