How does one become a Linux SysAdmin?

I have been in I/T for since 1994. Most of my experience has been Deskside support. I have always wanted to move into System Administration. At one point with windows until I discovered Linux. Can you get a job as Linux admin with no experience Just certs and work on home servers?

TBH, it depends... If you are lucky, you may find a small company that just needs a hand in that area.
Alternatively, if you work in a large company (that has *nix), then try to move across.
If you've got yourself Certified, it shows you've got motivation and some level of knowledge.
Obviously certs aren't everything, but we've all got to start somewhere.
You may even want to stand up a public server so that you've got something to show prospective employers; ditto setting one up on a laptop you can take to interviews with you.

That depends on how much you are aiming to hug and what is the length of your arms!!
Or lets say, how much your truck can carry?

Yes you can get a job as Linux Administrator with no experience but it all depends, if any company require freshers for Linux Administrator post. I was searching this morning for freshers as Linux Administrator and I found that some of the companies have posted jobs for freshers Linux Administrator.

It's all depend what a company require...
