How does my desktop look? Any suggestions on additions? What do you use?

After 2-3 months of using Linux *The first month and a half was on-and-off from Windows and Linux, just this month I started using it as a primary* I just NOW found how and where to customize my laptop with basic elements. I don't know much about customization, but I have a feeling I did a good job with it. Are there any applications that allow you modify your desktop further? What additions should I make to my desktop? Screenlets seem to be a bit unstable at some times, turning completely invisible or transparent or moving to the middle of the screen.

Any additions you want to recommend

Another thing, why not post a screenshot of your own desktop so I can learn more Also, I couldn't use any Compiz because I'm using Ubuntu 11.04

I like the wallpaper. The desktop looks well-organized and, if it works for you, that's what matters.

Personally, I am not a big fan of icons. I like a clean desktop. You can see some of mine--and also lots of other persons' desktops--here, as well as submit your own.
