How do you move the Virtual Desktop selection on the KDE taskbar?
I've just installed SimplyMepis which uses KDE3.3. Everything is ace and works well except that by default the virtual desktop selection on the taskbar has no side "move me" bars and its placed right in way in the middle of the task bar. How the hell do you move it. Normally I would right click the bars and just move it.
Apart from this very minor silly annoyance, top distro try it!
Please help
Thanks in advance
Steve

i always remove my pager, but when it is on the takbar, there is a very light hangle off to the side that i can't see very well unless i run the mouse over it. otherwise, there may be a 'lock' option on the taskbar that won't let you move anything, and needs to be unset.

Using FC3 if i want to move anything on the taskbar in KDE (i prefer fluxbox) move the cursor to the left of it and it should roll over a small object with an up arrow, right/left click it to get some options like lock and remove pager etc. if it isn't locked you should just be able to drag it

You probably have the applet handles turned off...
Configure Panel >> Appearance >> Advanced Options >> Applet Handles. Click the Make Visible radio button.
I have mine on fade out. Looks a little better.

I don't believe I've been using KDE for years now and have only just discovered how to make the pager transparent!
(right-click->show, for anyone else )
