How do you make boot parameters permanent in Sugar?
Hello,
I have a generic monitor which has problems with many Linux distros. We can boos Sugar on a Stick v2 by pressing <tab> at the Sugar splash screen and adding the boot parameter "nomodeset". I'm handy enough to do this, but my wife, well, not so much. So is there a way to make that boot parameter permanent? Thanks! |
add them to the kernel line in /boot/grub/grub.conf
Sugar is the name of the desktop environment - the OS is fedora 11. |
