how do install *.sh files on fedora?


hi i'm a newbie and i don't know how to install *.sh files in fedora dose any body know how to install *.sh files?

When you say install *.sh files ... are those just
shell-scripts you want to be accessible from anywhere,
or are they like the Sun jdk-installer, with a compressed
bit and an attached installation routine?
