How do I uninstall then re-install Yellow Dog Linux 6.1?

I have Yellow Dog Linux 6.1 installed on my Sony PS3.

How do I uninstall Yellow Dog Linux 6.1 and then re-install it back again.

I can't take it anymore.
Ever since Linux seized up and I restarted the system it has been a nightmare.

I want to start over.

Please tell that at least this is an easy task to do.

All and any help will be GREATLY appreciated.

Hi,
I wouldn't bother uninstalling. Simply reinstall Yellowdog over the top of your existing install. There should be the option to do a clean install.

I will recommend you try a different distro this time around, things like Ubuntu, Mandriva, PCLinuxOS, etc. are very good choices --- all available by clicking on a download button, waiting for a while, burning onto a disc, and doing the install. For example Ubuntu is at:
http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download

As said above, do not worry uninstalling a distro, just back-up your personal stuff such as documents, bookmarks, etc. and simply overwrite the distro.
