How do I reattach floating window to its parent?

I am using KDevelop on Mandrake 9.1. After a power failure, i restarted my computer but each of the windows associated with KDevelop is now 'floating' i.e. they are not docked onto the KDev Main Window. I have searched all over but cannot find a command to redock them. Please can anyone help?

Well, I don't use that, however, Firestarter has the ability (split the buttons from the log), as does xmms to seperate the player from the playlist, to 'float away'. I can re-attach them simply by moving one back close to it's origional positiion and once close enough, it snaps back into place. Don't know it that will work for you, but worth a try.

Thanks, but I had already tried that. I have tried numerous other 'logical' methods that would work on other operating systems - but not Linux!

Hmmm, is there a .kdevelop directory in your home directory that contains your preferences. Try creating another user, then fire it up as the new user and see if that is the case.
