How do I make this key?
 
Went to install monowall on my hard drive and came across this symbol: |

gzcat /usr/m0n0wall/generic-pc-1.11.img | dd of=/dev/ad0 bs=16k

How do I make this key?

Look on your keyboard? All the american keyboards have it, it requires the use of pressing "shift" and "\".

It is on your keyboard somewhere. On my keyboard, it is an upper case backslash.

Well I don't know if I should laugh at my stupidity, or cry. Here is what happened, the keyboard I am using is an old laptop, I bet you will never guess which key just happens to be missing? I was thinking it was a special command to make this key...DOH!
