How do i look at windows files in linspire?


Im new to linspire and was just wonding how do i look at windows files?

You can can't you? ,i mean i did it in Slackware Mandrack but , you do it linspire ? well thanks for the help.

mount the windows partition

mount /dev/hdx# /path/to/mnt/

i haven't worked on linuspire but i have worked ion other linux Os
the method is

#fdisk /dev/hda

see the partiton u want to mount

and then mount in a folder by

#mount /dev/hda6 /mnt/win_d

where win_d folder suld exist in ur /mnt folder

but i think linspire should be mounting them automatically

check out ur directories in the /mnt folder,see its contents
