how do I locate my fedora version currently running

hello all,

I am new to this forum and rather a newbie. I am looking for the command line used to find my installed version of Fedora.

Thanks

Ron

In alternative
Code:

lsb_release -d
this is valid for every distribution, without knowing the name of the release file in advance.
