Ok, here is what I have.

I have Ati drivers installed and as far as I know I installed them correctly. So what's going on? I'm sure I should have framerates of at least 2000... not 70.

What could be wrong?

I now see that direct rendering is disabled... so does that mean the the drivers are not working? Also lsmod doesn't list fglrx, but it does list agpgart and intel-agp
