How do I install mpssh tool?


I'm new and can't figure out how to install a tool called mpssh. Any help would be greatly apprecaited. Thanks.

Link to the software in question. This removes the chance for possible confusion over what you are refering to.

Look the packages available via whatever package manager whatever distro you're using uses and check there isn't a package for it you can just select and install.

Assuming you're talking about then download it, unpack it and type make in the directory that results. You don't need to 'install' it but you can copy the resulting mpssh executable anywhere you care to

Simply typeing 'make' in the directory where I copied the files worked. I'll read up on make to better understand how to use it.

Is anyone familiar with the mpssh tool? I installed it and I am getting an error. I executed the following statement:

./mpssh -u root -p 5 -f servers.txt -v ifconfig | grep HWaddr

And I get the following error:

Permission denied (publickey,keyboard-interactive)
