How do I install more fonts in KDE

I'm using FC4 and I don't like the fonts that come with KDE. When I go into the control center to change them the selection seems very limited. I was hoping to use something simple like Arial but that font is not in the list of fonts I can choose from. Does anyone know how to install more fonts so I can make my FC4 look more attractive?

I have copied my windows TrueType fonts to directory /usr/local/share/fonts and they worked, now I can use them in all aplications, KDE too. . You can also use KDE Control Center, it has something like font installer, but it does the same thing. Maybe it helps.
