How do I install Google Earth.bin on Suse 10.2

YES I READ THE SIMILAR THREADS but didn't understand only one and that didn't work.
I downloaded the file to my documents just to put it somewhere. What do I do now? I know I need to install it.

# su
<root psswd>

# cd <the directory>

# chmod +x *.bin
# ./*.bin

(if there is only one .bin file there else replace '*' with filename)

Best
