Question How do I install a livejournal client on my Asus EEE PC 701?

I purchased my ASUS to take with me on a long holiday overseas and intend to update my livejournal but as I am unsure when I will have access, I wanted a livejournal client so that it could keep my entries until I was ready to upload them in one go...thus I have attempted to install a livejournal client onto my ASUS pc. The client I thought was most suited (Though I could be wrong) and that I downloaded, was Logjam.

I can extract this to the file manager on my ASUS and I can see the files but am uncertain as to what to do from this point. I have attempted to use the command line facility to install it, (With a lot of research and the help files here..) but after I did the ./configure it did say there was something that I didnt' have in the.. path? Sorry I didn't make a note of it at the time and am unable to find it. But it advised me to look at the config.log which I did.

Whereupon a great many lines whizzed by at tremendous speed and which meant very little to me. It was about this time that I thought.. 'oops.. perhaps I should leave this and just cope without a client.'

Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is there something else that I can use that will install software for me much more easily?

I thank you in advance for all and any help and advice that you can offer!

Cheers, Lee
