Does ubuntu take up the full hard drive or do you have spare partitions? If you have spare partitions just boot off the xp cd, and do the setup process. You will eventually come to a screen that shows the different partitions..just choose one that hasnt been formated yet for XP. IF you have ubuntu taking up the full hard drive, you will need to run a program to free up some space. I know of partition magic, but there is one I used in linux..dont recall the name off the top of my head though. Others can prolly assist you further if need be.

You can use gparted included with the ubuntu livecd to repartition the harddrive.
