How do I get YouTube to work in Ubuntu?

I am running Ubuntu 7.10 Gusty Gibbon. My teenage daughter is wanting to know why she cannot get YouTube to work now. I have the Macromedia Flash plugin installed. Still does not work. Is there some other package I need to install? Thanks.

No, just flash should do. How did you install it, from the repositories or manually? And are you running 32 or 64 bit *buntu?

Do you have any plugins installed that might be blocking it (NoScript for example)? If not, are any error messages displayed?

32 bit. I don't know of anything else that I have installed that would prevent it from running. In fact, the only other package I added was the Flash plugin.

I dont have ubuntu but, it sounds to me that you need more tweaking to get it to work.
Here are instructions on getting it to work for firefox. http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/faqs/fir...#install-flash

Hope this helps.
