how do i get xmms to read cue playlists

hello. newbie here.

I have a single .flac file for one entire CD, and .cue that accompanies it. but xmms doesn't seem to recognize it. I searched for plugins and found mp3cue but the site seems obsolete...

What do I do ?

Thanks in advance :)

Xmms while still around for download(and installed by many distros), is no longer current or upgraded to my knowledge.

Try Audacious. It looks/acts very similar to Xmms. I don't use .flac or .cue, but I just opened Audacious and went through its preferences, and it shows "Flac audio plugin" as installed... I didn't install it, so it must be installed by default.

w/o knowing what distro you have, I don't know how to tell you how to install it.

If you're into skins(and if you're not, you will be, the default ones for Audacious are awful), XMMS skins seem to work quite well w/ Audacious...

wow finally a solution!

my distro's FC6, and the site says the packages are included in the FC extras so I don't think I'll have a problem installing it..

Thanks, IndyGunFreak :)

I've installed audacious and its various decoders from livna, and it's working fine.
